ELM The program is focused on original ELM327 chips https: // www.elmelectronics.com. Not all Chinese adapters support the full functionality of the original ELM327. Therefore, if OpenDiag does not connect to the ECU, you do not need to "kick" with other programs that are connected. They communicate with the ECU according to the OBD-II standard. OpenDiag communicates using the ECU protocol and requires the full functionality of the original ELM327. The OBD-II standard is supported by the program in its simplest form, select the OBD-II block and get connected!
USB USB adapters require USB-Host support by smartphone or tablet.
Supported USB adapter chips (tested): FTDI (FT232RL), WCH (CH340), Prolific (PL2303), Silicon Labs (CP2102, speed override required https://chiptuner.ru/content/pub_20/).
