Sail Data Project lets you know in real time the ratings (coefficients for calculating the regatta compensated time) of all the boats that have a valid ORC measurement certificate. In addition to the ratings, it is possible to view all the most important information on the ORC certificate in just a few clicks.
Sail Data Project is also a convenient tool for calculating the compensated times of a given boat in relation to all the other boats present in a given race. For this purpose it is possible to create a simulation of the regatta / event with all the participants, the miles to be traveled and the type of coefficient used (Gph, Time on Distance Inshore or Time on Distance offshore) to know immediately what will be your compensated time. The zero table is also available to get a complete picture of the compensated times of each of the participants in relation to any other. Moreover it is possible to know the compensated time also for wind intensity that is an indicative help in the case of calculation of the race result with the built path.
Sail Data Project also offers the possibility of having at your fingertips the data of your crew, including the n. of Fiv card and the weight that you can put in relation to what is indicated on your certificate avoiding to incur in calculation errors and even worse in tonnage protests.
