WINDTRE Family Protect

WINDTRE Family Protect, created with the support of Avast, a leading company in IT security, is the Parental Control App that takes care of network security and allows you to control and protect your family's browsing, both at home and away from home.
The App allows mobile customers to control and protect their children's browsing at any time, and regular customers to monitor and protect all objects connected to the home router.

WINDTRE Family Protect allows you, in a few simple steps to:

• Block or filter content you deem inappropriate
• Block Social Apps (Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok, etc)
• Block game apps (Minecraft, Fortnite, PokemonGO, Clash of Clans, etc)
• Block Video Apps (YouTube, Netflix, SkyGo, etc)
• Block Messaging Apps (Facebook Messenger, Viber, Skype, etc)
• Find out which apps and websites have been used the most and block them
• Find out how much time your child spends on certain apps or websites (compatible only with WINDTRE Junior Protect installed on a device with an Android operating system)
• Manage up to 10 devices between Smartphone and Tablet
• Remotely suspend the Internet connection
• Set time limits on internet use
• Check the position of your child
• Check the battery status of paired devices
• Troubleshoot the home router
• Inspect the status of all objects (IoT) connected to the router and block their access to the Internet

We remind you that, in order for the Parental Control to function correctly, the following are necessary:
• the WINDTRE Family Protect App, installed on the parent's Smartphone or Tablet
• the WINDTRE Junior Protect App, installed on the child's Smartphone or Tablet.

For customers using the mobile version, activating the protection and connecting their Smartphone with that of your child is quick and easy:

• Install the WINDTRE Family Protect App on your Smartphone or Tablet
• Log in with the "administrator" number communicated during the subscription phase
• Create the profile you want to protect and add a new device
• Start the pairing procedure of the child device by sending the code
• Click on the link received from the parent device and install the WINDTRE Junior Protect App on the device to be protected
• Open the WINDTRE Junior Protect App on your device and enter the code.
• Start protecting your children from the dangers of the Internet now.

For customers using the version available with the fixed line, the home network protection will be activated automatically when the fixed network is activated (in the case of new customers), or after the request is forwarded via the App or other sales channel ( for existing customers).

In order to monitor and customize the level of security required, the customer must:
• Install the WINDTRE Family Protect App on your smartphone or tablet upon receipt of the SMS containing the link to the App Store
• Log in with the “administrator” number communicated during the subscription phase
• Create the different profiles to be associated with each family member and assign them the desired level of protection

To use WINDTRE Family Protect for free, you need to activate one of the Junior offers, or you can use it by activating the optional WINDTRE Junior Protect at a cost of € 0.99 per month, with 1st month free, compatible with all mobile offers and the fixed offer of WINDTRE.
