When exactly Five Kingdoms appear, disputes are still ongoing. And in fact, even the oldest from the long-lived elves do not remember the times when the Northern Mountains, the Western Plains or the Eastern Ocean did not exist. Chronicles of different races also do not bring clarity - most of them pay too much attention to which race appeared on the lands of Five Kingdoms first. The remaining place in the chronicles is dedicated to the one who overthrew whom, who poisoned whom, and how many gemstones are on crowns of the neighbors.

One way or another, but the fact remains: on the boundless expanses (well, almost boundless) of the world freely stretch out Five Kingdoms - the Northern Mountains, the Western Plains, the Eastern Hills, the Southern Jungle and the Central Kingdom. Each king has his own guilds of magicians - wise, all-knowing and incredibly scandalous personalities.

In the old days, when all the Five Kingdoms were just formed in their current borders, magicians of all states actively communicated with each other, exchanging knowledge, spells, gossip and rumors. Someone collaborated with someone, someone was friends against someone - in general, the magical community of the Five Kingdoms lived their own lives, not particularly paying attention to different schools and styles. Wizards were as one community - until the Great Wizards Fair became a Split Fair.

It is already not reliable to find out why it happened and who to blame. All that is known is that the organizer was a mysterious figure in a cloak with a hood hiding his face. But if you ask magicians from the Secret Brotherhood about this, you will receive only the phrase "You will not prove anything." And the next day, most likely, choke on a peach seed. Or slip and accidentally fall into the well. Or you will fall under a lost carriage. In general, you will die a completely natural death that does not cause any suspicion.

One way or another, and the Great split of magicians began precisely with the Great Wizards Fair. But few people know how the ill-fated Fair has begun…
